On this tour you will experience the tides, large harbours and ships from close at hand. Stade, a 1000-year-old maritime town, entices visitors to take a pleasant stroll and stay for a while.

Day 1:
After your arrival you will get to know historic Stade on a maritime city tour.

Day 2:
You go on a special trip on the river Schwinge and the river Elbe in the “Tidenkieker”, a flat-bottomed boat. You will explore the natural tributaries of the Elbe. In the afternoon you will experience the beauty of the Alte Land. A visit to a fruit farm is planned and in the barn there cake and coffee will be served.

Day 3:
Today you are off to the Weser and Bremerhaven. Find out about the fourth largest container terminal in Europe by taking part in a tour around the fishing harbour. A 2-course meal and a wonderful view of the harbour round off the day.

Day 4:
The fourth day takes you from Cuxhaven to the North Sea. A trip by horse and wagon over the sands to the island of Neuwerk will show you just how wide and fascinating the Wadden Sea really is. Find out about the island when touring the dyke and then climb to the top of the lighthouse.
