Stade’s ideally situated caravan site is getting itself ready for mobile home travellers: the spacious and well-equipped caravan site close to Stade's old town is the perfect starting point for a tour around Stade’s historic half-timbered houses.

Renovated in 2007, the caravan site has a modern camp concept. Instead of being square-shaped the generously proportioned lots have a curved form just like the bends of the river Schwinge.

The caravan site provides space for 79 mobile homes and is situated right in the city centre (from the camp site, Stade’s old town which is worth seeing and offers many shopping amenities is easily reached on foot) but is to be found in a quiet location.

Close to the caravan site run three popular cycle paths: the Elbe Cycle Route, the North Sea Cycle Route and the cycle path leading from the Devil's Moor right up to the Wadden Sea. Moreover, there are signposted circuits. The STADEUM Culture and Congress Centre with its wide variety of events is located on the opposite side of the road.
